Position:
Braemar is seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher for our Mount Macedon campus to teach in the senior school levels. At our college, we foster a culture where equity, excellence, and personalised learning are at the heart of everything we do

- Time fraction of approximately 40%.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Maintain high standards of learning and teaching, assessment and reporting.
- Continuously refine teaching strategies and activities using student feedback and assessment data to improve lesson plans and delivery.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum through to VCE.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of teamwork and collegiality and plan collaboratively with teaching teams.
- Contribute to Professional Learning Teams.
- Have excellent knowledge of contemporary approaches to teaching including proficiency in utilisation and integration of technology within the classroom.
- Set high expectations to create a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom culture, fostering creativity and problem-solving.
- Model and live the Braemar College values and behaviours.

- Demonstrated experience teaching VCE Mathematics is preferred.
- Display a data-driven approach to Mathematics education that leads to student academic growth.
- Show a willingness and the capacity to contribute to the wellbeing of students.
- Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches.
- Be a current VIT registered teacher.
- In addition, the preferred applicant will have an understanding of and a commitment to the ethos of independent schooling, as well as a willingness to contribute to College events and adhere to the College's 'Child Safety Policy'.
